Another Successful Event Done And Dusted!

THANK YOU!
Huge support for one-off Expo

The 2021 Searoad Devonport Motor Expo is done and dusted and we couldn’t be happier with the result!

More than 2,500 people visited the Expo from across Tasmania, which exceeded our expectations.

The paranaple centre was the perfect location – We are again very grateful to the Devonport City Council for their continued support.

Stand out vehicles on the day included the unveiling of the restored 34 Chev, owned by Brian and Maureen Imlach – following a 6 year build in Victoria, as well as Greg Stone’s hot rod.

Congratulations to our raffle winners:
First prize (2 nights accommodation for x2 people at White Sands Estate): Gerard Ennis
Second prize (Autobarn Devonport 7′ roadvision driving lights and wiring harness plus a $50 voucher: Peter Higgins
Third prize (Devonport Car Spa – x3 $100 voucher: Matt McConnell

Planning for next year’s show underway!
As we’ve said from the start, the 2021 Expo was a one-off event.  Planning has already begun for the 2022 Searoad Devonport Motor Show, to be held in the normal format at Aitkenhead Park at the far Northern end of Victoria Parade. We can’t wait!

Making a difference – where do our profits go?

All proceeds from the Devonport Motor Expo are split and donated to local, Australian and International Rotary programs.  2021 projects include:

  • Local youth programs
  • Backpack Beds for the homeless in Tasmania
  • Providing Shelter Boxes for disaster relief in Australia and neighbouring locations
  • To support the Food Plant Solutions program and provide much-needed simple water purification units to communities in developing countries.
