DMS To Present One-Off ‘Expo’ In Place Of Regular Event For 2021

The Devonport Motor Show team will seize the opportunity to present a very special, one-off event in 2021, in place of the annual motor show.

The team will host a 3-day ‘expo’ of never-seen-before vehicles, at the paranaple centre in Devonport on the weekend of March 19-21 (Friday – Sunday), 2021.

These vehicles will descend upon Devonport, offering motoring enthusiasts a rare opportunity to check them out in the flesh.

2021 Expo spokesperson Mac Russell said the team were excited to be able to present the 2021 Expo, which the team hope will appeal to car lovers of all persuasions.

“Given the many COVIDSafe restrictions in place for events, we are determined to ensure we can host a safe event which can be enjoyed by motoring enthusiasts across Tasmania and interstate,” Mr Russell said.

“The expo will feature 25 vehicles, all of which have never been displayed at the show before.  In fact, some of them have never been on public display at all until now.”

Mr Russell has thanked the supporters and sponsors of the Devonport Motor Show.

“Our supporters and sponsors have been incredibly loyal to us in recent years, particularly given the unforeseen circumstances which have forced the cancellation of two recent shows. We hope they will get behind us for this special event,” Mr Russell said.

“We are also very grateful to the Devonport City Council for its flexibility in enabling us to use their facilities to stage the Expo.”

Mr Russell said the 2021 Expo would also be a ‘one-off’ event, with the aim for the Devonport Motor Show to return to its normal format in 2022.
